Terms & Conditions 

Our Terms and Conditions are designed to provide you with all the information you need. Of course, if you have any more questions please don't hesitate to contact us.

Payment

All payments are to be made by credit card, the details of which you will provide to us on the booking form at the time of making your booking.

In order to confirm your booking, a deposit of 20% (maximum $300.00, charged in the currency of country of travel) must be paid at the time of booking. If your booking is received within 45 days of departure we will require full payment at the time of booking.

The balance of your booking price must be received by us not less than 45 days prior to departure; this date will be shown on your invoice. We will deduct the balance of your Rental price 45 days prior to the date of departure using your credit card details provided to us on your booking form. If your credit card does not have sufficient credit to pay this amount in full and on time, we reserve the right to treat your booking as cancelled by you. In this case the cancellation charges and any additional charges will be as per the supplier’s terms and conditions.

On receipt of the total booking price from you we will send you your travel documents. You have no legal right to any of the travel services included in your contract with us until the full rental price has been received by us on time.

Foreign Currency

If all or part of the payments for your Rental is required to be paid in a currency that is different from that of your country of residence the amount payable is subject to the currency exchange rates that apply at the time the payment is made. Therefore different currency exchange rates may be applicable if payment is made in stages.

Insurance

Passengers are recommended to ensure that they arrange comprehensive travel insurance cover. A travel insurance professional will be able to advise you of the policy best suited to your needs.

Changes by you

Change policy for rentals within New Zealand & Australia

Should you wish to make any changes to your confirmed booking (i.e. with respect to the destination, pick-up / drop-off location or date, the vehicle or rental company) this will be treated as a cancellation with a new booking being created, the normal cancellation charges will then apply.

If you wish to make a small change to your confirmed booking inside of the supplier’s cancellation date policies, and provided we can confirm such a change, we will charge an amendment fee of $50.00 per booking component changed.

Please note that no refunds are given for any services booked but not taken.

Change policy for rentals within the USA, Canada & South Africa

If you wish to make any changes to your confirmed booking you will be subject to the individual suppliers Terms and Conditions.

Cancellation by you

If you wish to cancel the Rental, written notification must be given to us by the person who made the booking. The date of cancellation will be the date we receive this written notice.

Cancellation policy for rentals within New Zealand & Australia

  • In the event of cancellation by you, no insurance premiums paid will be refunded and the following cancellation charges will be payable by you:
  • Your notice of cancellation will only be effective when it is received in writing by us at our offices and a cancellation charge of $50.00 (NZD or AUD, $150 for all Apollo Bookings in AU & NZ between 25-180 days) will apply in addition to the cancellation fees outlined in the individual supplier’s terms and conditions.
  • Any additional charges passed on to us by suppliers of the services booked by you will be passed on to you and will be added to the above cancellation charges as payable by you.

Cancellation policy for rentals within the USA, Canada & South Africa

  • If you wish to cancel your booking you will be subject to the individual suppliers Terms and Conditions.
  • Any additional charges passed on to us by suppliers of the services booked by you will be passed on to you and will be added to the above cancellation charges as payable by you.

Complaints

Any complaints arising during the period of your rental must be directed to the supplier as per their terms and conditions.

Liability

To the fullest extent permissible at law:

  • All representations, terms, warranties, guarantees, or conditions whether implied by statute, common law or custom of the trade or otherwise, including, but not limited to, implied warranties, guarantees or conditions of merchantability and/or fitness for a particular purpose, are excluded.
  • We shall have no liability to you or any member of your party for anything, other than a breach by us of an express provision of these Booking Conditions (including but not limited to negligence on our part or the part of our employees or agents).
  • You acknowledge that you do not rely on any representation or statement made by or on behalf of us or our employees or agents other than the express provisions of these Booking Conditions.
  • We shall not be liable for any consequential, indirect or special damage or loss of any kind suffered by you or any member of your party.

Force Majure

We accept no responsibility for and shall not be liable in respect of any loss or damage from alterations, delays or changes arising from unusual and unforeseeable circumstances, beyond our control, such as war or threat of war, riot, civil strife, industrial dispute including air traffic control disputes, terrorist activity, natural and nuclear disaster, fire or adverse weather conditions, technical problems with transport, closure or congestion of airports or ports.

Website Accuracy

Whilst every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of the information on our website, regrettably errors do occasionally occur.

MotorhomesandCars.com reserves the right to amend any bookings up to the date the full rental price has been taken. The customer will be advised of any changes as soon as is reasonably possible via e-mail and will be provided the option of accepting the changes or cancelling the rental without charge in which case you will receive a full refund of all monies paid to us.

International Customers - Passports and Visas

You are responsible for obtaining the necessary information and complying with any passport and visa requirements within your chosen country of travel.

Governing Law

These Booking Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with New Zealand law. Any dispute arising hereunder shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
